OpenCircuitWikiThe welcome page for the OpenCircuitDesign Wiki.
Welcome to the OpenCircuitWiki, the place to exchange ideas about the open-source EDA toolset comprising (at least) Magic, XCircuit, IRSIM, Netgen, and PCB.
The primary goal of the Wiki is to provide a single point of reference for development requests, help requests, and a list of frequently-asked questions (and their answers). Another goal is to replace the existing tutorials and documentation with versions that can be modified, annotated, and expanded.
As of April 15, 2006, I figured out that one of the Wiki's configure settings was replacing '?' with '/' in the HTML links, which was preventing various things like accessing the "Edit this..." page. This is now fixed.
As of April 26, 2006, I have been battling spam posts to the Wiki. Since these appear to be automated, I am adding a password for edits but posting the password here. That should block the Wiki abuse I've been seeing over the past week. The edit password is "ocd_edit". If spammers manage to figure that out, then I will add further measures by only posting the edit password to the mailing list.
To give yourself edit access to the OpenCircuitDesign Wiki, click on "Preferences" at the top or bottom of the page, type "ocd_edit" into the "Administrator Password" field, then click the "Save" button. If you want the administrator password, just ask me (tim AT opencircuitdesign DOT com). After clicking "Save", when you return to the Wiki page, you'll see an option at the bottom "Edit text of this page". Click that link to edit the contents of the page.
